Leave the motorway at the exit marked "FR-Mitte" (Freiburg centre) and follow the signs for the "Altstadt" (old town).
At the third junction these will tell you to turn left across the "Schwabentor" Bridge and onto the "Schlossbergring" town ring road.
Get into the left lane going straight ahead and drive around the town centre (approx. 0,8 km) until you see a pedestrian bridge, which runs diagonally across crossroads. Turn left here, and left again after 150 m into the Conrad-Gröber-Straße (initially difficult to spot).
From here drive into the pedestrian zone (permissible as our guest) through two passages adjacent to the department store "Karstadt" and then straight across Münster square towards the department store "Galeria Kaufhof".
Turn left before "Galeria Kaufhof" and after 80 m you will find yourself in front of our guesthouse at Schusterstraße 11.

Once you have left the motorway follow the signs for the town centre "Stadtmitte" until you arrive at the memorial.
Herre get into the lane going straight ahead, marked for Donaueschingen. The road will bend left, then right.
Here you will see the pedestrian bridge running diagonally across crossroads. Turn right her and follow the instructions for the FR-Centre route as of the Conrad-Gröber-Straße.

When travelling in on the B 31 (from the Black Forest) you will enter the town via the new tunnel.
Once you have exited the tunnel take the right-hand lane until you arrive at the "Schwabentor" Bridge.
Turn right here in the direction of the "Altstadt" (old town), taking the town ring road.
Once here follow the directions given for the FR-Centre route from the Schlossbergring.
